From Live… Greetings From The Flow State, because it is one of the best live performance masterpieces.
And this song because it is so sad the concept of it all, not being who Yr. loved one would imagine to spend the rest of their life with. After all, no one ever changes who they really are. Ppl either match and go together or they don’t.
“And will you find out who you are too late to change?“
I never been in the situation of craving an unworkable relationship, being realistic made me give up before making it a sick situation, but I have seen ppl growing in different directions, growing apart from each other and hanging onto an inexistent connection.
And in some cases love was still there, yes, but the two were so totally at opposite poles that they just couldn’t have smth of their common one. This is what happens to high school sweethearts who tend to believe that they’ll spend the rest of their lives together, too.
One should never force a sick thing like this. At least one of the two will get really messed up.
Goodgod, today I’m philosophical.
